Shallow Depth of Field-Clickin Moms Creativity Blog Circle(Westchester County NY Children’s Photographer}

This is my first time participating in a blog circle, and I’m so excited. Our theme this month was shallow depth of field. I really didn’t know what I wanted to shoot for this theme, until I looked at my youngest on his changing table. I realized it won’t be much longer that he’ll fit on it, or even need it.  I grabbed my camera and decided I needed to document him and do our shallow depth of field assignment. I normally shoot pretty wide open anyway, as I love the look it gives for portraits, but I don’t often shoot in my house.  These were shot with a 5omm prime lens, with an aperture of f/2.2.

This is him later in the day, on his bike in the driveway! Shot with the same 50mm lens at f/2.8.

Please continue on through our blog circle http://www.twopointfivephotography.com/blog/2013/6/cm-monthly-challenge to see her take on shallow depth of field!
